There are people who are content to just keep doing what they’re doing, whether it’s working or not. You want more. Perhaps you acknowledge a need for greater self awareness. You know you have the potential to lead a more fulfilling life and counseling can get you there faster. I have great respect for people who are looking for more out of life, and I would enjoy helping you reach your goals.

I especially enjoy working with introverts and highly sensitive people.

My approach to counseling incorporates aspects of mindfulness, self-compassion, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), and EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing). You can also expect your work with me to incorporate aspects of existential therapy, which is about self-understanding, specifically how you make meaning of the human condition and existence. Meaning-making has the potential to be a deeply enriching and fulfilling pursuit. I encourage exploration beyond the superficial checklist of life into the deeper layers of your fears and dreams.
